Manufactured by Pilatus Aircraft of Switzerland the Pilatus PC-12 is a single-engine turboprop aircraft. Debuted in 2006 at NBAA in Orlando, the latest model of the PC-12 is the Pilatus PC-12NG (New Generation). Pilatus Aircraft has a long and varied history before the incredibly popular and versatile single-engine business turboprop, the PC-12, was revealed in 1991. Pilatus Aircraft was established in December of 1939 and formed to do maintenance and repairs for the Swiss Air Force. From 1941 to the present Pilatus has developed and built trainer, STOL transporters, and even artillery observation aircraft.
Many PC-12NG is fitted with the optional Executive 6 + 2 cabin-seating package. It includes a center four-seat club section with four, fully adjustable chairs, plus two forward-facing chairs with full extension leg rests in the rear of the cabin. The interior layout of the PC12-NG, created by Pilatus in partnership with BMW Designworks, makes the most of the available cabin size. Large openings in the cabin side panels increase room at the hip. The side rails are positioned at the perfect height to function as armrests for the chairs. Even the worktables fold-out flush with the side rails to increase usable area.
